Broadway Tower (15 miles)

High above the town of Broadway and right along the Cotswolds Way is this marvelous 18th-century gothic folly featuring views all the way to Wales and exhibits on William Morris and others. An excellent sandwich shop by the car park makes this a perfect morning excursion.

Chedworth Roman Villa (20 miles)

In a secluded valley lie the remains of this extensive Roman villa with in situ mosaics, hypocausts and a visitors’ center and museum that provides a superb look into life in Roman Britain.

The Rollright Stones (5 miles)

An ancient stone circle predating Stonehenge by a thousand years, the Rollrights are rich in local lore and legend. Be sure to count the stones (everyone gets a different number) and to visit the nearby King Stone and Whispering Knights formations.
